Production Manager

About the Job:

We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager to lead our manufacturing team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring smooth, balanced, and uninterrupted production flow.
  • They will coordinate with other departments related to production activities for short, mid, and long-term improvement.
  • Key responsibilities include ensuring delivery commitments, meeting customer demand on time and quality targets.
  • The Production Manager will assist the production team in planning production activities to increase productivity by reducing rejection and rework.
  • They will provide guidance and direction to the team, including setting performance standards, monitoring KPIs.
  • A key focus area will be encouraging, building mutual trust, respect, and motivating the team through daily communication and plant visits.
  • The role involves assisting the team in identifying areas of improvement by implementing Kaizen culture and cost reduction through VA/VE activities.
  • Identifying development needs and training for existing/new staff is crucial.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting to management on progress, gaps, and actions for improvement is essential.
  • Providing the best possible working conditions for employees is a priority.
  • Promoting HSE activities is also important.
Requirements:

Knowledge required: Stamping, Injection Molding, and assemblies.

Skills required: Good leadership and communication skills.
