Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee and streamline our financial operations. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end finance functions including bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance, with expertise in Xero.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting operations using Xero
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
- Develop and track budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts to support strategic goals
- Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, receivables, and payables
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity
- Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Support payroll processing and handle employee expense reimbursements
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
- Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation for audits and tax filing
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar finance role
- Hands-on experience with Xero (certification preferred)
- Strong knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, and bookkeeping practices
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and compliance frameworks
- Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- ACCA, CA, or CPA (partly or fully qualified)
- Experience working with startups, SMEs, or international clients (especially in UAE or Saudi Arabia)
- Familiarity with project-based accounting or SaaS-based business models
