Grant Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grant Management Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement strategies to secure funding for research from various public and private sources.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with donors and stakeholders to ensure seamless proposal development and submission.
  • Oversee the development and submission of proposals to secure funding.
  • Design and implement mechanisms to solicit applications and negotiate terms of reference.
  • Report on financial activities as required.

The successful candidate will serve as a member of the project management team, ensuring that the grants program supports other project elements. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all activities align with grant guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent qualifications.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to focus on quality and effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. They must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
