Lead Corporate Strategist

The role of Lead Corporate Strategist is to ensure that the company's financial operations are sound and aligned with the company's overall vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing the company's financial strategy, including managing financial risks, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring the company is financially stable.
  • Overseeing the preparation of the company's financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and ensuring that they are accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Managing the company's capital structure, including raising capital, managing debt, and making investment decisions that maximize shareholder value.
  • Identifying and managing financial risks, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Ensuring that the company's accounting practices and financial controls are robust and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Managing the company's tax strategy, including identifying tax planning opportunities and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Managing the company's cash flow and liquidity, including overseeing the management of the company's cash reserves and short-term investments.
  • Leading the finance team and ensuring that they operate effectively and deliver high-quality financial services to the company.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of official data/information.

Requirements:

  • Member of a recognized body of professional accountants with at least five (05) years relevant experience;
  • Or a person holding a master degree in finance from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission with at least ten (10) years relevant experience.
