Job Title: Research Assistant Position in Botany
The Department of Botany is seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to work on a project titled "Developing mung bean (Vigna radiata L.) genetic transformation system for herbicide tolerance targeting CP4-EPSPS gene". The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Nawaz, Assistant Professor/Principal Investigator.
Responsibilities:
- To assist in the planning and execution of research experiments related to plant genetics and transformation.
- To maintain accurate records of laboratory procedures, data collection, and analysis.
- To collaborate with colleagues to achieve project objectives.
Requirements:
- Enrolled MS/MPhil Scholar in the Discipline of Botany.
- Relevant experience will be preferred.
Benefits:
- A monthly stipend of Rs. 16,000/- per month.
- A contract duration of 10 months.
