Dump Truck Operator


About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity to work as a dump truck operator in a dynamic construction environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating and driving dump trucks with a capacity of 31 tons to transport various materials.

You will load and unload materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment such as loaders or excavators. Your primary focus will be on transporting materials to designated locations within construction sites or other specified destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

To ensure timely delivery of materials, you will follow predetermined routes and schedules. In addition to your driving duties, you will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance or repair needs.

As a senior-level employee, you will communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate activities and ensure efficient workflow.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of experience as a dump truck driver, preferably with experience driving trucks with a capacity of 31 tons. They should possess excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness, good communication skills, and a strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations governing the operation of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment such as loaders or excavators.
  • Transport materials to designated locations within construction sites or other specified destinations.
  • Follow predetermined routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the dump truck on public roads.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organized condition of the truck's interior and exterior.
  • Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate activities and ensure efficient workflow.
