Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to perform various tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Operate heavy equipment such as tractor backhoe loaders to excavate and backfill trenches, foundations, and other earthwork projects.
  • Load and unload materials using the heavy equipment.
  • Assist with grading and leveling terrain as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the equipment, including inspecting, greasing, and cleaning to ensure optimal performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certification or training in operating heavy equipment.
  • Proven experience of at least 4 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator or similar role in construction or landscaping.
  • Valid driver's license mandatory.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, plans, and diagrams.
  • Physical stamina and strength to operate heavy machinery for extended periods.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
  • Attention to detail and precision in executing tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
