Local Search Strategist

We are seeking a skilled Local Search Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enhancing the online visibility of small and medium businesses across major platforms.

Your primary goal will be to develop and implement tailored strategies to improve local search rankings. This includes crafting innovative campaigns, working closely with team leads, and guiding fulfillment efforts to maximize client visibility.

About the Role:
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance SMB visibility on Google My Business (GMB) and Apple Maps.
  • Create and manage GMB Organization accounts effectively.
  • Reinstate suspended or removed GMB listings efficiently.
  • Produce and post engaging content regularly on GMB listings.
  • Create, claim, and manage Apple Maps listings.
  • Optimize listings to improve search rankings and visibility.
  • Add and manage business citations across various platforms.
  • Maintain accurate Name, Address, Phone (NAP) information across all listings.
Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate NAP information across all listings and understanding the critical importance of NAP consistency for local search success.

Additionally, you will stay updated on industry trends and platform updates to inform strategies and identify growth opportunities.

As part of our team, you will work collaboratively with team members to share knowledge and best practices, driving innovation and excellence in our work.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Local SEO, specifically managing GMB and Apple Maps.
  • Good English writing skills for creating engaging post-content.
  • Proven ability to create and manage Google My Business Organization accounts.
  • Experience reinstating suspended or removed GMB listings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating and managing Apple Maps listings.
  • Strong understanding of the importance of NAP consistency and its impact on local search rankings.
  • Ability to add and manage business citations across various platforms.
  • Proficiency in tools and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and local SEO tools.
