Job Overview

As a QA Automation Lead, you will be responsible for building and implementing test automation frameworks to enable development teams to write tests. You will define and implement QA processes to ensure quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building test automation frameworks using playwright and selenium.
  • Defining and implementing QA processes to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Integrating DevOps practices into the QA process.
  • Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, SA/BA, and DEV teams to understand requirements.
  • Performing various testing types (Acceptance, API, Functional, Regression, end-to-end).
  • Logging defects and providing clear communication on test results and status.
  • Providing UAT and PROD support.
  • Working with global team members.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of QA engineers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6+ years of experience in building test automation frameworks to enable development teams to write tests.
  • 6+ years of experience in automating web applications using playwright and selenium.
  • 6+ years of experience with API scripts using Postman.
  • 5+ years of experience in Jenkins, Jenkins-Pipelines, Git.
  • 6+ years of experience in performance testing using JMeter.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools like Quality Center or any other test management tools.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience in team management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in defining and implementing QA processes.
  • Experience with AWS services and other cloud environments.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL server and scripting.
  • 5+ years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience with security testing is a plus.

Education Requirements

You must have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

OR A Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

OR A PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

Additional Requirements

1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
