Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technology leader to drive engineering excellence within our organization. This role combines strategic vision with leadership and operational capabilities, requiring a strong understanding of modern software development and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic direction as a core team member, contributing to organizational decision-making by aligning technology strategy with business objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business challenges and design technology-driven solutions, leveraging expertise in designing platforms for public health or large-scale data automation projects for the public sector.
Architectural Design:
  • Develop and Oversee Implementation:
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions, creating and maintaining architectural frameworks that address current and future needs.
  • Drive Technical Innovation:
  • Drive technical innovation by evaluating and incorporating new tools and technologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
Hands-On Engineering:
  • Technical Guidance:
  • Roll up your sleeves to code, troubleshoot, and provide technical guidance on key projects, utilizing expertise in cloud platforms, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
  • Mentorship and Team Development:
  • Mentor and guide young engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture, while developing and executing comprehensive team development roadmaps, including skills training and career progression plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and team leadership roles.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in management-level decision-making, strategy, and team development.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Advanced proficiency in designing and implementing solutions using modern programming languages.
    • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization.
