Job Title: Sr. Microsoft Dynamics Business Central / NAV Developer

We are seeking a skilled Technical Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of new and existing Microsoft Dynamics Business Central customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze Client Needs: Assess client requirements and provide accurate estimates for modification requests.
  2. Develop Code Extensions: Write code to extend all functional areas of Business Central, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  3. Test and Deliver Modifications: Test functionality developed by the implementation team against business requirements and deliver modifications to clients as needed.
  4. Provide Technical Support: Offer pre-go-live and post-go-live end-user support to ensure a smooth transition and minimize downtime.
  5. Lead Technical Expert: Serve as the lead technical expert on the implementation team, providing guidance and expertise to team members.
  6. Develop Modifications and Outputs: Develop modifications and create outputs as defined by standard system design lifecycles, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  7. Collaborate with Sales Teams: Work closely with sales teams to estimate modification costs and demonstrate solutions to potential clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Software Development Experience: 5 or more years of experience as a software developer working with Dynamics Business Central / NAV, at least 3 of which must be with the AL programming language.
  • Business Central Experience: Experience with Business Central 15 and above is required, specifically with using events to perform modifications. Additional experience with prior NAV versions is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on Client Experience: Hands-on experience working with clients with at least one of the following: Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Azure Development.
  • Third-Party Add-ons: Experience extending common third-party add-on solutions is highly desired.
  • Automated Testing: Experience with automated testing is desired.
  • Preferred Tools and Certifications: Candidates experienced with Docker, Git, and Azure DevOps will receive particular preference. Nice to have certifications include MB-800 Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant, AZ-204 Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure, AZ 800/900 Certificates, and DP 600.
