Database Administration Role

This is a key position for a Senior Database Administrator who can lead the development and implementation of advanced database technologies and best practices.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in database administration, including experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available database environments.
    • Lead database performance tuning and optimization efforts, focusing on high throughput and minimal downtime.
    • Develop and enforce database management policies and procedures, including backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
    • Collaborate with development teams to design data models that meet application requirements.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in production, working with cross-functional teams to ensure fast recovery and continuity of service.
    • Manage and maintain database security protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy regulations.
    • Oversee database migrations, upgrades, and patch deployments in complex production environments.
    • Implement and maintain cloud database services and manage hybrid database solutions.
    • Mentor junior DBAs and drive knowledge-sharing within the team.
