Job Title: Senior/Principal Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer

Job Overview

Lahore, Pakistan is home to a rapidly growing software testing industry.

As a Senior/Principal SQA Engineer, you will be responsible for driving innovation in software testing by developing, maintaining, and executing cutting-edge automation scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review feature files in gherkin and automate them using BDD frameworks.
  • Develop automated test scripts for new features of n-1 sprint and maintain the whole automation script.
  • Report and update defects, verify defect fixes, using JIRA defect tracking tool.
  • Execute automated flows on different servers like local QA, UAT, PROD.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Practical knowledge of SDLC, STLC and Automation Life Cycle.
  • Strong hands-on experience of 3-6 years in developing software tests for functional and regression testing.
  • Strong grip on different automation frameworks, including BDD and Cucumber/gherkin.
  • Good skills in writing SQL queries in SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, groovy and Git, Bitbucket, SVN, Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, technical field or equivalent experience.
