Senior Business Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven professional to lead end-to-end presales engagements, from requirement discovery to proposal submission.

  • This role demands a strong strategic mindset, exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to guide teams through complex, high-value pursuits.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in business analysis and presales processes, operates with high independence, and serves as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Requirement Gathering & Discovery: Lead strategic discovery workshops to uncover client pain points and capture detailed business requirements.
  2. Presales & Proposal Ownership: Take full ownership of the proposal lifecycle — from shaping solution narratives to aligning pricing models and overseeing submission processes.
  3. POC/Prototype Leadership: Drive the design, execution, and client delivery of Proof of Concepts (POCs), showcasing solution feasibility and creating competitive differentiation.
  4. Cross-Functional Engagement: Collaborate extensively with Sales, Delivery, Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to co-create solution architectures and execution plans that are viable, compelling, and aligned with business goals.
  5. Strategic Problem Solving: Identify and resolve ambiguities in requirements, address potential delivery gaps early, and align technical capabilities with commercial expectations through stakeholder facilitation and insight-driven recommendations.
  6. Team Leadership & Mentoring: Lead junior business analysts and presales associates, reviewing their work, building their capacity, and embedding presales best practices across the function.
  7. Reporting & Executive Communication: Deliver concise, data-backed reporting and updates to C-level leadership on deal pipeline, proposal progress, win-loss analysis, and team performance metrics.
Required Skills and Competencies:
  1. Presales & BA Expertise: Proven track record of leading complex proposals and solution design. Deep understanding of the presales lifecycle, business cases, RFPs/RFIs, and value engineering. Must possess strong technical acumen to work effectively with engineering teams, translate business needs into technical requirements, and evaluate solution feasibility.
  2. Strategic & Functional Perspective: Ability to align pursuit strategy with long-term business objectives, market trends, and solution strengths. Brings a strategic lens to solution storytelling and win themes.
  3. Cross-Functional Influence: Skilled in leading conversations with senior stakeholders and managing multiple internal teams toward aligned presales goals. Demonstrated ability to navigate and synthesize input across functions (Sales, Tech, Finance, Legal).
  4. Autonomy & Execution: Operates with high independence, owning full pursuit cycles with minimal oversight. Brings structure, accountability, and clarity to every deal.
  5. Coaching & Leadership: Invested in team capability building. Mentors junior staff, shares learnings, and contributes reusable frameworks and assets to drive organizational learning.
  6. Communication & Client Engagement: Exceptional written and verbal communication, including experience preparing C-level proposals, client presentations, and handling executive-level objections or escalations.
Technical Know-How:
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Comfortable reading technical documentation and engaging with engineering teams on system design, integration, and performance trade-offs
  • Familiarity with modern application stacks and basic proficiency in tools such as Postman, SQL, or Jira
