Category Strategy Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Merchandiser to lead the Women's Categories, developing a commercially successful assortment and driving seasonal performance through strategic planning and trend analysis.
- Lead seasonal line planning and category strategy for all women's wear segments.
- Collaborate with design, production, and buying teams to create a well-balanced assortment aligned with brand direction and customer demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales, stock, and market trends to identify opportunities and propose necessary actions.
- Oversee product lifecycle management from concept to shelf, ensuring timely delivery and product relevance.
- Coordinate closely with retail and e-commerce teams to ensure product visibility and sell-through.
- Monitor competitor activity and conduct regular benchmarking.
- Drive pricing, margin planning, and SKU rationalization for optimum profitability.
- Present category performance reports and business insights to senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in merchandising, preferably in premium or designer women's wear.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and category dynamics.
- Proven track record of handling seasonal planning, product lifecycle, and sales forecasting.
- Proficiency in Excel and analytics.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- A passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail.
