Senior Instructor Position

Job Description:

A leading academic institution seeks an accomplished Senior Instructor to spearhead research initiatives and support faculty and residents in designing, executing, and publishing research projects.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in epidemiology or biostatistics, with a focus on study design and data analysis, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support faculty and residents in designing, executing, and publishing research projects.
  • Provide expertise in epidemiology or biostatistics, with a focus on study design and data analysis.
  • Assist in the design of surgical research studies and support data collection and analysis.
  • Contribute to the writing and submission of manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
  • Coordinate with institutional research offices to ensure compliance and secure necessary approvals.
  • Manage departmental registries and research databases.
  • Conduct regular research workshops to build research capacity and promote a culture of research excellence.

Required Qualifications:

  • MPhil or Master's degree in Public Health or Epidemiology & Biostatistics along with MBBS degree. PhD in relevant discipline is preferred.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in any reputable organization is preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer applications, particularly MS Office and other relevant software packages for data entry and analysis.
