IT Operations Team Member

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our IT Operations team.

This role focuses on maintaining system availability, performance, and security across hybrid on-premises virtualized infrastructure and cloud-based services hosted on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

  1. Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
  2. Oversee deployment, configuration, and management of Azure resources, monitoring performance and managing security settings.
  3. Implement and manage Entra services for secure access management, configuring identity and access policies, and ensuring compliance.
  4. Regularly monitor and maintain computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure for optimal performance.
  5. Install, configure, and update software and operating systems on servers and workstations.
  6. Manage network services including LAN, WAN, VPNs, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  7. Implement and manage security measures to protect data, systems, and networks from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  8. Develop and manage backup strategies and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
  9. Provide technical support to users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
  10. Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
  11. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
  12. Ensure systems comply with organizational standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator, Microsoft Entra Administrator, Endpoint Administrator, Microsoft 365 Security) are highly desirable.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in System Administration or a similar role in a hybrid cloud large enterprise environment.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, MDI, MIP, and MFA/Conditional Access.
  • Familiarity with email protection tools and configurations in Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
  • Good understanding of networking, IT security principles, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently in a 24/7 environment.
  • Exposure to virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools is beneficial.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and make quick, sound decisions.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Working Conditions:

  • This position operates in a 24/7 environment, requiring shift work (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
  • May require occasional on-call responsibilities.
