Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Compensation Specialist to oversee all aspects of payroll processing. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll execution while maintaining compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll for employees on a bi-weekly or monthly basis using industry-leading payroll software.
  2. Record Maintenance: Maintain and update payroll records, including salaries, timekeeping, benefits, and deductions.
  3. Compliance Management: Ensure payroll practices are compliant with local, state, and federal laws, including tax regulations and labor laws.
  4. Tax Reporting: Prepare and submit payroll tax reports, filings, and payments in a timely manner.
  5. Benefits Administration: Coordinate payroll deductions related to benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, garnishments, etc.
  6. Employee Support: Serve as the point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies or issues.
  7. Audit Support: Support internal and external audits related to payroll, providing required documentation and explanations.
  8. Reporting: Generate reports on payroll costs, employee earnings, and other related financial metrics as requested.
  9. Process Improvement: Recommend and help implement process improvements to optimize payroll operations.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field (preferred).
  2. Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of payroll processing experience.
  3. Software Proficiency: Experience with payroll systems and MS Excel.
  4. Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and tax rules.
  5. Skills：

Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Payroll Certification: FPC, CPP, or equivalent certification.
  2. Multi-State Payroll Experience: Experience with payroll processing across multiple states.
  3. HRIS Systems Familiarity: Familiarity with HR Information Systems.
