About the Job

We are looking for a skilled software developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work on a long-standing, minimalistic, and beautifully engineered file sharing platform.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of solid backend experience/front end, ideally with Java/Kotlin. They should be able to run systems on bare-metal or low-abstraction environments and find joy in simplicity, not complexity for its own sake.

The job requires strong technical skills, including knowledge of MariaDB, MySQL & NoSQL. The candidate should also be able to handle both deep focus time and lighthearted communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning backend development, infrastructure, and technical evolution
  • Deploying applications via WAR files to Apache Tomcat
  • Using Gradle, TeamCity, Cypress, and IntelliJ IDEA to build, test, and deploy
  • Contributing to scaling the system across physical servers
Requirements
  • 4+ years of solid backend experience/front end
  • JAVA/KOTLIN programming skills
  • Knowledge of MARIA DB, MYSQL & NOSQL
  • Ability to handle both deep focus time and lighthearted communication
