System Lifecycle Specialist

Job Overview

The PLM Analyst plays a vital role in our organization as the system Super User, responsible for creating and maintaining specifications and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for various products across multiple channels.

This individual will act as a liaison between Product Development, Compliance, Sourcing, and global manufacturing teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective data management. Based remotely, they will work to maintain clean handoffs between external parties and internal teams in Asia and North America.

Daily & Monthly Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Parent-level specs, purchasing SKUs, BOMs, and key attributes in the PLM system (materials, surfaces, packaging, cost inputs)\
• Track revisions with full versioning logic across NPD, compliance upgrades, and sustaining changes\
• Uphold global data standards and field-level validation rules; audit for missing, stale, or duplicated entries\
• Support seasonal update cycles, spec finalization, and sample-triggered lock dates\
• Collaborate with Product Development, Merchandise Planning, Compliance, Quality, Sourcing, and 3PL teams to ensure all product records meet commercialization and certification requirements\
• Join milestone and handoff meetings to capture change requests and align dependencies\
• Act as the Asia-based Super User: handle tickets, train new users, document workflows, and test enhancements\
• Partner with U.S. team on roadmap feedback, field structure upgrades, and audit history improvements\
• Main Responsibilities include creation and maintenance of specification documents, development and implementation of automated processes, analysis of current systems and identification of opportunities for improvement, data entry and record keeping, problem-solving and decision-making, coordination with cross-functional teams, including communication with different departments and stakeholders, etc.\

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, records, and reports, adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and participate in audits and quality control activities to ensure compliance.\
• Develop and implement effective strategies for knowledge transfer, create and maintain instructional materials, provide coaching and mentoring to junior colleagues, facilitate workshops and training sessions, conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry developments.\
• Communicate progress and results to stakeholders, build trust and rapport with senior leadership and other key stakeholders, foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, and leverage technology to enhance productivity and performance.\
