Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SQA Analyst Automation with Actuarial/Finance/Insurance domain experience to join our research and development team.

About the Role
  • This position involves developing and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for actuarial software written in VB.Net.
  • You will collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design specifications.
  • Frequent testing of actuarial calculations is required to ensure the accuracy of financial models within the software.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify and document software defects.
  • Closely work with actuaries and developers to resolve issues and improve software quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and implementation.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Insurance/finance domain background is essential.
  • Actuarial sciences/finance/insurance domain knowledge is necessary.
  • Proven experience in automation testing, with a focus on actuarial software (2-5 years).
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in APL programming language.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
