Software Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to lead our software development initiatives and drive technical innovation in our fast-paced tech environment.

  • Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement robust software applications and systems, ensuring they meet business needs and industry standards.
  2. Design and architect high-quality, secure, maintainable, and scalable solutions that align with business objectives.
  3. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  5. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to industry best practices and coding standards, promoting team excellence.
  6. Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose new tools and practices to improve the development process, driving innovation and efficiency.
  7. Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, scalability, and security, ensuring smooth system operation.
  8. Participate in strategic planning and provide input on technology direction and product development roadmaps, informing business decisions.
  • Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is an asset.
  2. 10+ years of software development experience with a strong portfolio of completed projects, demonstrating expertise and leadership skills.
  3. Expertise in at least one backend language (e.g., Java, C#, Python) and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), with a strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
  4. Strong experience in database design and optimization, including both SQL and NoSQL solutions, with a focus on scalability and performance.
  5. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and DevOps practices, ensuring efficient deployment and management of software systems.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on teamwork and communication.
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, driving business results.
