Senior QA Engineer
A Senior QA Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of software products. As an associate responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions, they contribute to reviewing system requirements and tracking quality assurance metrics.
The primary responsibilities include planning, organizing, and implementing day-to-day activities of testing, collaborating with developers, architects, and technical release managers within an agile/scrum environment. This includes participating in scrum & product planning, being responsible for all phases and types of testing, including strategies, requirements, planning, management, execution, and reporting.
Key Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in Manual Testing, Performance Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Integration Testing.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.

Mentorship and training are also essential aspects of this role, as senior engineers have a responsibility to guide their juniors and build team strength through education and development opportunities.
