Organizational Development Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Organizational Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and enhancing the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  2. Maintain organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
  3. Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  4. Maintain a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
  5. Evaluate employee performance by training managers to coach and discipline employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  6. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization during audits.
  7. Develop management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of employment law and regulations. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required, along with at least 5 years of experience in HR management.
