**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team as an Accounts Senior.

As an Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services to clients, including bookkeeping, VAT returns, year-end accounts, and self-assessment tax returns.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Bookkeeping using accounting software (Xero and QuickBooks)
  • Preparation of VAT returns for Ltd companies and sole traders
  • Preparation of year-end accounts (CCH experience is ideal)
  • Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
  • Analysis of balance sheet, profit & loss, and trial balance
  • Assisting managers with various tasks

**Requirements:**

  1. Minimum of two years' experience working with a UK-based accounting firm
  2. Must have UK tax and accounts knowledge; only individuals with relevant experience are eligible to apply
  3. Must have knowledge of all UK VAT schemes
  4. Proficiency in using accounting software, especially Xero and QuickBooks
  5. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  6. Must be either qualified or part-qualified in a relevant qualification (ACA, ACCA, AAT, Degree in Accounting and Finance, or similar)
