Job Title: Director of Retail Analytics

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our retail analytics team and drive business growth through data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading advanced analytics teams, developing data strategies, and implementing AI and ML models. They will also possess strong data engineering skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of customer experience and its implications on a retail business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of a world-class advanced analytics team to drive business growth and efficiency within the retail and SME segments.
  • Collaborate with business heads, product heads, and enabling functions to shape data strategy, deliver business insights, and apply advanced analytics use cases.
  • Design and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) required for executive, business, product, digital teams, frontline, and operational reviews.
  • Identify, prioritize, design, and deliver advanced analytics use cases to drive business growth and cost optimization across all verticals within the retail bank.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in data and analytics in retail banking or related industries, with at least 7 years in a managerial role.
  • Prior hands-on experience in all four streams of analytics (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, and Prescriptive).
  • Strong data engineering skills in traditional and modern ETL tools, with exposure to big data environments.
  • Hands-on experience in AI/ML model development, validation, and deployment.
  • Deep understanding of digital data, digital MI, and digital analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate analytics resources.
