  • To ensure the efficient operation of our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR & Admin Manager.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's recruiting, learning, and development programs, as well as administrative tasks. This includes:

  • Creating referral programs and overseeing the hiring process.
  • Making strategic decisions to hire, develop, and retain qualified employees.
  • Preparing job descriptions and posting ads on various channels to attract potential candidates.
  • Assisting with the recruitment process by identifying suitable candidates and issuing employment contracts.
  • Ensuring due diligence is conducted on candidates regarding their professional background and reference checks.
  • Maintaining digital and electronic records of employees.
  • Performing orientations and updating records of new staff members.
  • Serving as a point of contact with benefit vendors and administrators.
  • Ensuring that Human Resource files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements, company policies, and procedures.
  • Responding to queries internally and externally on hiring.
  • Coordinating training sessions and seminars.
  • Producing and submitting reports on general HR activities.
  • Overseeing the completion of compensation and benefit documentation.
  • Preparing assessments of employees on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

 

Administrative Responsibilities

In addition to HR-related tasks, the HR & Admin Manager will also be responsible for:

  • Timely repair and maintenance of equipment and assets while maintaining records.
  • Liaising with local and government sectors, including LESCO, WASA, EOBI, PESSI, etc.
  • Liaising with potential vendors following proper procurement processes.
  • Responsibly opening and closing the office.
  • Purchasing stationery, office supplies, and other miscellaneous items and distributing them according to defined requisition approval procedures.
  • Supervising office boys and janitorial staff.
  • Responsible for office security and monitoring CCTV cameras.
  • Compiling, purchasing, and maintaining monthly requisitions.

 

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have an extensive background in the Human Resource department. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (MBA in HRM is preferred).
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience as an HR and Admin Manager (essential).
  • Familiarity with Labor Laws and Human Resource policies and procedures.
  • A full understanding of HR and Admin functions and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage payroll and handle miscellaneous outdoor assignments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • High computer literacy, with proficiency in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
  • Self-motivation, problem-solving, and dispute resolution skills.
  • The ability to make strong and immediate decisions and possess convincing skills.
