Senior Pharmacist Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Pharmacist to fill a key role in our healthcare team. As a senior member, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned areas, ensuring the provision of accurate and timely information to healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage routine operations of assigned areas, focusing on providing accurate and timely information to support healthcare professionals.
  • Utilize expertise to offer drug information and guidance to healthcare staff, promoting safe and effective medication use.
  • Contribute to the creation and publication of Pharmacy newsletters, posters, and institutional presentations, highlighting best practices and emerging trends.
  • Effectively manage inventory and all aspects of Hospital Pharmacy, optimizing efficiency and minimizing waste.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to staff and interns on drug information protocols and clinical pharmacy best practices, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals across departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination, promoting a culture of safety and quality.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D) degree with 8-10 years of experience in clinical pharmacy or drug information roles; supervisory experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of drug information resources and control procedures, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong research skills and hands-on experience creating educational materials, including posters and publications, to effectively communicate ideas and findings.
