Network Engineer - Network Architecture

We're seeking passionate professionals to craft, implement, and maintain massive Internet-scale networks.

This role involves designing and engineering network-related tools and systems, collaborating with software engineers on network automation and monitoring platforms, contributing to open source projects related to network and platform engineering, and developing network automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing network architectures for large-scale datacenter networks and global backbone networks.
  • Collaborating with software engineers to develop and maintain network automation and monitoring platforms, including SDN solutions and integrations.
  • Contributing to open source projects related to network and platform engineering.
  • Maintaining high code quality through code reviews.
  • Developing and maintaining network automation solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in at least one of the following languages: Go, Python.
  • Expertise with Linux.
  • Experience with CI/CD, containers, virtualization, web servers, and databases.
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
  • Experience with automation frameworks (Salt preferred).
  • Good understanding of code versioning tools like Git and accustomed to multi-branch development.
  • Experience working on large-scale datacenter networks and global backbone networks.
  • Experience working with Juniper hardware (e.g., MX, QFX, EX, SRX) and the Junos operating system, and Nokia, Arista, and Ciena.
  • Experience working with typical layer-2 and -3 protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VRRP, IS-IS ,LACP,MC-LAG).
  • Experience working with MPLS, including BGP-LU (RSVP-TE experience a plus).
