Senior Software Engineer Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing components of our consent management framework.

Your responsibilities will include building privacy compliance reporting and data retention management features. You will also contribute to the development of our data certification framework with configurable data quality validation rules.

In addition, you will help develop data lineage tracking capabilities with column-level granularity for sensitive data. Your expertise in building and maintaining APIs for integrating data quality, privacy, and governance tools will be essential in implementing data classification and privacy-preserving transformation pipelines.

This is an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally with data engineering, analytics, and business teams. Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers on data best practices will also be an important part of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement components of the consent management framework
  • Build privacy compliance reporting and data retention management features
  • Contribute to the data certification framework with configurable data quality validation rules
  • Help develop data lineage tracking capabilities with column-level granularity for sensitive data
  • Build and maintain APIs for integrating data quality, privacy, and governance tools
  • Implement data classification and privacy-preserving transformation pipelines
  • Work cross-functionally with data engineering, analytics, and business teams
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers on data best practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years focused on data platforms
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Java or Scala
  • Experience working with microservices and data processing frameworks (Apache Spark, Airflow, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and their data services, preferably AWS
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and containerization (Docker)
  • Understanding of data modeling and database design principles
  • Knowledge of data governance concepts and basic understanding of regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA)
  • AWS Certification is a plus (but not required)
