Job Overview

We seek a seasoned professional to lead our costing efforts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Cost Strategy Development

Design and implement cost optimization strategies, prepare budgets, and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement.

Financial Performance Analysis

Analyze order-wise profit or loss statements, comparing actual performance to budgeted expectations, and provide insights to inform business decisions.

Accounting Operations Management

Ensure accurate accounting records, reconcile production accounts, and provide detailed expense analyses.

ERP System Administration

Manage ERP system's production accounting, inventory data, and other control activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Requirements
  • Educational Background

Masters in Commerce (M.Com), Masters in Business Administration (MBA), ACMA Finalist, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), or Chartered Accountant (CA) Articles Completed from a reputable institution.

Professional Experience

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the apparel industry.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, methodologies, including standard costing, variance analysis, and activity-based costing. Proficient analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Personal Qualities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be based in Gajumatta, Lahore, and have hands-on experience in SAP B1.
