Productivity Optimization Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Productivity Optimization Engineer to play a key role in improving our production efficiency and workflow optimization. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency across our Western apparel production lines.

Key responsibilities include conducting time and motion studies, planning and balancing production lines to achieve daily output targets, and identifying bottlenecks to suggest process improvements. You will also be responsible for preparing capacity studies and resource planning for new styles and orders, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order execution, and monitoring quality at each stage of production.

Additional responsibilities include recommending corrective actions to maintain buyer standards, providing training and guidance to supervisors and operators on best work methods, and developing cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality and compliance. Requirements & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience as an IE in garment manufacturing, preferably in Western apparel.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes in Denim, Non-Denim, Knitwear, Wovens, and Suiting.
  • Proficiency in time and motion studies, line balancing, and efficiency improvement tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.
