Chief Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of natural gas measuring equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage remote monitoring and data acquisition systems in the Oil and Gas Sector.
  2. Ensure proper functionality of Remote Monitoring Equipment installed across Customer Meter Stations/Town Border Stations.
  3. Design dashboards and screens for exceptions and consumption monitoring.
  4. Oversee procurement of necessary spares and equipment related to Remote Monitoring.
  5. Drive proactive planning and scheduling processes to optimize manpower.
  6. Develop, implement, and manage key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
  7. Conduct root cause analysis, document problems, and coordinate with relevant departments for swift resolution.
  8. Coordinate and manage field activities related to installation, startup, maintenance, and operation of data acquisition equipment.
  9. Manage precise gas management, accurate measurement, and pressure adherence according to demand-supply analysis.
  10. Develop, implement, and monitor budgets for Operations, Maintenance, Revenue, and Capital expenditure.
  11. Manage technical evaluation of bids through the procurement department.
  12. Plan emergency and contingency procedures for attending to emergency complaints promptly on a 24/7 basis.
  13. Uphold the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of data acquisition equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics/Telecommunications.
  • Minimum 09 years of post-qualification experience in remote monitoring and data acquisition in the Oil and Gas Sector.
