Job Description

This position involves the application of deep technical expertise to resolve complex infrastructure challenges, drive automation, and enhance system performance, availability, and scalability.

Ideal candidates thrive in high-ambiguity environments, lead root-cause analysis efforts, and identify long-term solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Root cause analysis, tracking and enhancing operational metrics and SLAs
  • Driving process automation, managing incident response
  • Creating high-quality documentation, KBAs and SOPs

  • ServiceNow – for ticketing, incident tracking, and change management
  • Jira & Confluence – for task tracking, documentation, and team collaboration
  • Alteryx – for data pipeline orchestration and transformation
  • Teradata – for large-scale enterprise data querying
  • Tidal – for job scheduling and automation
  • SQL Databases – for querying, maintaining, and troubleshooting system data
  • Visio & Lucidchart – for system architecture and process diagramming
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a System Engineer and a bachelor's degree
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to meeting SLAs and KPIs
  • Solid understanding of databases and SQL
  • Preferred hands-on experience with the technologies mentioned
  • Proficiency in installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
