Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a culture of mutual respect, collaboration, and continuous learning among all members of the school community, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning experience for students.

Academic Responsibilities:

  • Implement comprehensive teacher recruitment strategies to attract top talent, ensuring a diverse and skilled teaching staff that meets the needs of students.
  • Develop and execute a data-driven school improvement plan based on thorough need analysis, prioritizing areas of focus and allocating resources effectively.
  • Ensure high-quality classroom instruction through lesson planning, observation, and feedback, promoting student engagement and academic achievement.
  • Enhance teacher performance through targeted professional development opportunities, including demo sessions and regular feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance by reviewing assignments and test papers according to policy, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Coordinate and manage co-curricular activities, including timetabling, assemblies, displays, and library functions, enriching the student experience and promoting holistic development.
  • Attend training sessions and conduct on-the-job training for faculty members, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry trends.
  • Conduct term tests and examinations in a fair and timely manner, upholding the highest standards of academic integrity.
  • Foster teamwork and motivate teachers to improve retention rates, creating a positive and supportive work environment.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong relationships with local stakeholders to promote education and encourage community involvement, building trust and credibility.
  • Maintain optimal student enrollment levels through effective implementation of enrollment strategies, meeting recruitment targets and achieving growth.
  • Monitor and maintain an up-to-date database of qualified teachers for future hiring needs, ensuring a pool of talented candidates.
  • Collaborate with regional HR teams for staff recruitment, retention, performance management, and other HR-related matters, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Ensure school discipline is maintained and positive character building is encouraged among students and staff, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Manage staff leaves and attendance to minimize empty classrooms, maintaining efficient use of resources.
  • Supervise the administrative assistant in accounting and administrative tasks, overseeing financial management and operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs of school buildings and premises, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Coordinate utility services and ensure timely supply and management, minimizing disruptions and optimizing resources.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor on board-related matters and stay informed about organizational policies, ensuring alignment and compliance.
  • Submit reports and documents on time and as required, maintaining transparency and accountability.
