Shopify / E-Commerce Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven individual to support our Shopify storefront by optimizing product descriptions, conducting regular website reviews, managing inventory levels, engaging with customers, updating visual content, and coordinating vendor liaison services.


Responsibilities:
  1. Product Optimization: Ensure clarity and conversion across all Shopify listings by writing compelling and concise product descriptions that accurately reflect the features and benefits of each product.
  2. Website Reviews: Regularly review our website to identify and correct errors or outdated information, ensuring that our online presence is accurate and up-to-date.
  3. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage product inventory levels to avoid stock issues, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  4. Customer Engagement: Respond to customer reviews posted on Shopify in a timely and professional manner to maintain brand trust and resolve any customer concerns.
  5. Visual Content Updates: Update website banners, landing pages, and product photos as needed to reflect changes in products, promotions, or company branding.
  6. Vendor Liaison: Coordinate inventory management, place purchase orders, and track fulfillment status to ensure seamless vendor relationships and efficient supply chain management.
Requirements:
  1. E-commerce Experience: At least 1 year in an e-commerce or Shopify-related role, with a proven track record of success in improving sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Shopify and e-commerce tools, including experience with product listing optimization, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  3. Organizational Skills: Highly organized and self-sufficient, with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  4. Communication Skills: Strong written communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply and clearly.
  5. Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive mindset and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong analytical approach to problem-solving.
