Accountant Position

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to fill this key role within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial services, with at least 6-12 months experience working in a similar environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate recording and reporting;
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns for limited companies;
  • Assisting with accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships & charities;
  • Reconciling bank statements and investigating discrepancies;
  • Providing administrative support to the senior team members;

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must be highly skilled in Excel and Word, with the ability to accurately prepare financial reports and presentations;
  • Have a strong understanding of bookkeeping and accountancy procedures, with experience in QuickBooks, Xero and other accounting software;
  • Possess excellent communication, planning, prioritizing, technical and analytical skills;
  • Be able to work under pressure with accuracy and focus;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field;
  • Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) or working towards it;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong time management and organizational skills;
