The role of the financial manager entails overseeing the effective management of finances, ensuring compliance and accountability across various interventions in Health, WASH, and MPCA for conflict and flood-affected IDPs in Bajaur.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure adherence to established financial policies and procedures by NoRC, IFRC, donors, and PRCS.
- Maintain accurate and transparent financial records in line with archiving and audit requirements.
- Establish and monitor robust internal control systems, including segregation of duties.
- Review and validate project transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely posting in the accounting system.
- Provide support during internal and external audits by supplying required documentation and clarifications.
A master's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration is highly desirable. Holding a part-qualified or qualified ACCA certification is also advantageous.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial management, encompassing cash/voucher assistance (CVA/MPCA).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and financial/accounting software.
- Advanced skills in financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and donor compliance.
