Job Title: Associate Dean

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the School of Medicine, including curriculum development and delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage academic and administrative staff, ensuring balanced workloads and accountability.

  • Manage the development and implementation of academic programs and curricula.
  • Lead and manage academic and administrative staff to ensure efficient operation of the school.
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of students' academic schedules and other university-wide operations.
  • Maintain and enhance the academic standards of the school.
  • Plan and submit work plans, course assignments, schedules, and outlines.
  • Foster professional development, teaching excellence, and research initiatives among faculty.
  • Collaborate with external institutions for clinical training partnerships.
  • Support the Faculty Dean in administration and strategic initiatives.
Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility to become a licensed medical practitioner.
  • Specialist Medical Practitioner with a terminal qualification in the relevant specialty.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the medical specialty.
  • At least 4 years of experience in medical administration or education.
