Pipeline Corrosion Specialist

The primary purpose of this role is to provide assistance in Corrosion Control activities on the pipeline network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with government departments/agencies for effective Corrosion Control initiatives.
- Perform rectification/maintenance of installed Corrosion Control stations.
- Conduct coating and wrapping of pipelines for optimal operations.
- Participate in field tests including Pipeline Current Mapping, Close Interval Potential Survey, etc.
- Plan recoating/rectification of pipelines based on test results.
- Assist in survey, design, and data collection.
- Prepare charts and tables for management review.
- Design Corrosion Control systems, including anode type, quantity, and location.
- Implement policies and procedures for corrosion control and undertake required work.
- Revalidate Pipeline Integrity Assessment and identify vulnerable sections.
- Coordinate Root-Cause-Analysis and Fitness for Service assessment.
- Initiate procurement of necessary materials and equipment.
Requirements:
- Ability to collaborate with government departments/agencies.
- Experience with pipeline coating and wrapping.
- Knowledge of pipeline current mapping and close interval potential survey.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
