We are looking for a talented IT Sales Engineer to join our client acquisition team. As an IT Sales Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, engaging inbound and outbound leads, conducting discovery calls, qualifying prospects, and guiding them through the early stages of our sales pipeline.
Your technical understanding and consultative sales approach will be crucial in presenting tailored solutions and coordinating with internal teams to move deals forward.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond promptly to leads across various platforms, using the most appropriate communication channel.
- Conduct discovery meetings with startup and SaaS founders to understand their business needs and product vision.
- Qualify leads based on criteria like budget, project scope, timeline, and decision-making authority.
- Nurture long-term relationships with prospects not ready to convert immediately.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to prepare personalized proposals or schedule demos.
- Keep all communication, meeting notes, and lead updates organized and updated in the CRM.
- Actively track and manage leads through every stage of the sales pipeline.
- Provide consistent feedback to the marketing team to refine and improve lead generation efforts.
- Ensure seamless handoff of closed deals to the project delivery team with full documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT sales or technical business development.
- Strong understanding of software development services such as MVPs, apps, and product platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple leads and maintain strong relationships with prospects.
- Familiarity with CRMs and lead qualification frameworks.
- A self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset and a passion for startups and innovation.
