System Administrator Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned IT professional to take on the role of system administrator.

  • Maintain and manage Linux server environments (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)
  • Provide technical support to developers with server setup, configuration, and deployment processes
  • Deploy and maintain applications as Docker containers using orchestration tools
  • Configure and manage reverse proxies, DNS services, and network security
  • Administer PostgreSQL databases including performance tuning and backup strategies
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
  • Monitor server performance and security using tools like Netdata and custom solutions
  • Manage containerized applications through Portainer.io and Coolify.io platforms
  • Configure NGINX Proxy Manager for load balancing and SSL termination

The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of practical Linux system administration experience, extensive experience with Docker containerization and container orchestration, proficient in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or similar), and strong experience with reverse proxies (NGINX, Apache, Traefik).

Prior experience with Portainer.io, Coolify.io, NGINX Proxy Manager, knowledge of Fusio API management platform, and cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly desirable but not required.
