Operations Director

About the Role:

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical leader who will lead our senior management team. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations, ensuring operational compliance, and addressing administrative issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Leadership:
    • Lead the development and execution of the operational strategy, aligning with company goals and objectives.
    • Provide leadership and direction to the operational team, ensuring effective implementation of all operational processes and procedures.
    • Collaborate with other senior management teams to drive growth, innovation, and enhance operational performance.
  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of projects, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
    • Manage scheduling, dispatching, and coordination of drivers, ensuring optimal resource utilization and minimizing service disruptions.
  • Team Development & Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of project managers, supervisors, and dispatchers.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Client Experience & Service Quality:
    • Monitor client feedback and implement operational changes to improve service quality, punctuality, and satisfaction.
    • Develop initiatives to reduce customer complaints and improve overall user experience.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Utilize data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction metrics.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on operations performance, identifying trends and recommending actions for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of the industry and its operational challenges, including driver management, fleet management, and customer service.
  • Proven experience in managing teams, optimizing processes, and delivering operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in using operational software and analytics tools.
