Job Summary

This role involves acting in accordance with the Internal Audit Manual, preparing cost sheets for various products, and conducting audit fieldwork at different locations. The successful candidate will also compile observations and findings during the course of the audit, calculate monthly overhead rates, and focus on high-risk aspects of the audit.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits at different sites as required and review stock valuation summaries.
  • Compile observations and findings from the audit process.
  • Calculate monthly overhead rates and ensure consistency in financial reports.
  • Evaluate the impact of changing environments on business strategies and recommend adjustments where necessary.
  • Prioritize accuracy and timely submission of audit reports.
  • Analyze operating budgets and profit & loss calculations.
  • OBTAIN RELEVANT DATA FROM PRODUCTION FOR COSTING PURPOSES.
  • Review stock valuation summaries.
Key Qualifications
  • Technical expertise with computer systems and analytical tools.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with quality management standards such as ISO 9001-2000.
