Sui Southern Gas Company Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in government or semi-government organizations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for scrutinizing requisitions received from user departments, ensuring compliance with PPRA & SSGC Rules & Regulations. They will also generate RFQs, process tenders, and correspond with suppliers as required.

In addition, the Senior Procurement Specialist will prioritize and assign cases to subordinates, supervise the preparation of contracts, and ensure their timely execution. They will also manage the enlistment of suppliers in Oracle ERP and creation of purchase requisitions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Scrutinizing requisitions and ensuring compliance with PPRA & SSGC Rules & Regulations
  • Generating RFQs and processing tenders
  • Corresponding with suppliers and issuing Corrigendum, Clarifications & Extensions
  • Prioritizing and assigning cases to subordinates
  • Supervising the preparation of contracts and their timely execution
  • Managing the enlistment of suppliers in Oracle ERP
  • Creating purchase requisitions

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess an MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, with at least 4 years of relevant experience in government or semi-government organizations. Strong knowledge of PPRA Rules and Government Policies/SROs is essential.
