About This Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Head of Business Development to join our client's team and contribute to their global growth strategy.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in international business development, particularly in knit products, and a proven track record of achieving revenue growth.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Develop and execute global business development strategies to achieve revenue and market expansion goals.
  2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with international clients and partners.
  3. Identify new business opportunities across different product categories and geographic regions.
  4. Collaborate closely with production and merchandising teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
  5. Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings.
  6. Promote pricing, negotiation, and contract finalization in line with company targets.
  7. Provide regular market intelligence and competitor analysis to support strategic planning.
  8. Lead and mentor a team to support business development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the apparel manufacturing industry.
  • Must have experience in traveling overseas for business development across various product categories.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a global mindset.
  • Culturally adaptable and willing to relocate to Bangladesh on a full-time basis.
