Assistant Manager Production

Leading a high-performing production team requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication. As an Assistant Manager in our production department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and driving productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the sales team to obtain ISOs and prepare material demand forecasts.
  2. Develop and implement daily and weekly production plans based on available materials and orders.
  3. Monitor production progress against established plans and address any deviations promptly.
  4. Compile and submit daily production reports.
  5. Track and document daily waste reports.
  6. Identify and mitigate major causes of waste to minimize its impact.
  7. Establish and maintain a weekly maintenance schedule for machinery.
  8. Coordinate with dispatchers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized production area.
  10. Ensure a quiet and calm working environment in the production area.
  11. Prepare monthly reports on ISOs, production, and wastage.
  12. Manage overtime accurately.
  13. Negotiate with suppliers to secure timely delivery of materials.
  14. Enforce discipline and adhere to all safety protocols within the production area.
