Job Title: Regional Sales Director
Key Responsibilities:
- To drive sales and profitability of a specific country or region through an existing and expanding store portfolio.
- To review and monitor the sales and stock performance of stores based in the region and proactively highlight issues to the Brand Manager/ Merchandising teams.
- To ensure stores based in their location deliver a consistent implementation of the Customer Service Proposition.
Scope of the role:
A predominantly regionally based role that takes accountability for driving sales and profitability of a specific country/region. The role requires commercial decision making, the ability to operate across a number of differing Brands/priorities and a key focus on developing a unified team.
- Accountable for the achievement of the agreed annual Regional Business Plan.
- Oversees the operation within a specific country/territory to ensure the smooth running of the business.
- Drive Area/Store Managers based within your region to meet and exceed agreed Business and Store level KPIs.
- Supports the Brand Manager to recruit and develop Store Managers to support future promotion opportunities.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Ensure you are focused upon delivering Sales and Profit
- Contribute and influence the annual sales plan for each Brand/Store level based in the region.
- Responsible for ensuring the brands/stores based in the region are delivering the sales according to the set (regional) business plans.
- Review regional P&L on a monthly basis to maximise profitability and highlight any exceptions/influence the relevant managers and functions to take appropriate action.
- Coach Store managers to be confident in understanding and communicating sales figures, P&L, best and worst sellers etc. and the reasons for this.
- Accountable for ensuring regional overheads remain within agreed budgets.
- Submit travel plans as part of the business planning process and ensure visits take place according to approved travel plans.
