We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that align with our company's strategic goals.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing and managing digital projects, an understanding of technical service offerings, and exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Identification and Bidding: Identify and bid on relevant projects on various platforms, ensuring alignment with company strengths and strategic goals.
  • Proposal Development: Craft compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs, demonstrating clear value propositions.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and inform outreach strategies.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal technical teams to scope project feasibility, prepare accurate cost estimates, and ensure smooth handover post-contract.
  • Lead Generation and Conversion: Achieve monthly and quarterly lead-generation and conversion targets through consistent performance and strategic follow-up.
  • Sales Activity Reporting: Maintain up-to-date records of sales activity in CRM tools, providing timely and accurate reporting to management.
  • Profile Optimization: Optimize company profiles on various platforms to increase visibility, trust, and inbound inquiries.
  • Client Communication: Represent the company professionally in virtual meetings, negotiations, and all client communications.
  • Cross-Selling and Upselling: Explore upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize client value and revenue potential.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably within the IT or digital services space.
  • Hands-on experience with freelancing and service marketplaces such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital services (web development, SEO, design, UI/UX).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, negotiate and close deals.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Existing client base or network in digital services. Proficiency with CRM and project management tools like Trello, or Asana.
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and proposal writing best practices.
