Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team as a Network and Desktop Support Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, maintaining the reliable operation of computer systems and network servers, and ensuring the security and availability of networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
  • Analyze and isolate hardware and software issues/errors by running diagnostics.
  • Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  • Monitor networks to ensure security, stability, and availability to specific users.
  • Asset management and planning for IT hardware and software.
  • Troubleshooting skills in Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Outlook.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and architectures.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with asset management and planning.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook.
